Boost operator visibility with third-party ticketing capability

Passenger’s brand-new tool allows third-party applications to host ticket purchase links beyond an operator’s existing platforms.
The new feature, which can be incorporated into any website or app, has welcomed its first implementation onto independently operated bus information website, BusTimes.org. People searching for bus service details on BusTimes.org will now see a dedicated ‘Tickets’ tab on profiles of operators who are signed up to Passenger’s renowned myTrip app and website platform.
Direct ticket links will connect to the myTrip app, making it easy for customers to purchase the right ticket for their journey based on their recent search. Users without the app on their device will be directed to easy installation instructions.

As BusTimes.org is such a respected and widely used website with around 5m visits per month, it made sense for us to collaborate with them and boost myTrip operator reach even further.

Passenger’s new partnership with BusTimes.org comes after the company announced a recent nationwide partnership with payments infrastructure provider, Littlepay. The partnership has allowed public transport operators who have a contactless deployment with Littlepay to give customers a real-time overview of all journeys made using a contactless bank card or contactless-enabled smart device as payment.
