Nottinghamshire community transport operator launches new website with myTrip
Citing reliability as its customers' number one priority, Nottingham-based bus operator CT4N launches a new integrated eCommerce website for bus services on the myTrip platform.

Nottingham-based bus operator CT4N is a small charitable trust that provides transport solutions to reduce social isolation and promote community cohesion across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. With a fleet of around 45 vehicles and a team of 130 drivers, CT4N joined myTrip in March 2021, only six months after its mid-pandemic launch.
Building on its success with the myTrip app, CT4N has launched a new website on the myTrip platform. CT4N’s range of bus tickets is now automatically available to buy on the web, too. With the ticket products being managed centrally in myTrip’s bus ticket management tool, Passenger Cloud, all tickets are instantly made available to the website as part of the onboarding.
Barry Allitt, CT4N’s Commercial Director, comments, “We looked at a number of website providers. Our customers’ number one priority is reliability, which is why the Board of Directors at CT4N decided to work with myTrip and the Passenger team. The new website will allow customers to track their buses ‘live’ from their mobile devices, even if their regular bus stop is not fitted with a real-time display at the stop. Customers will feel even more confident when travelling on our services.”
The team at CT4N now have full content management capability to create pages on the website and update the content whenever they like. The complex transport data is automatically used to deliver timely information that customers can access easily. The system is intuitive, so CT4N can run their bus services and not worry about how to manage their website ecommerce.
Barry continues, “The new content management system has made updating the website easier. Before [our website] was very clunky. It wasn’t easy to update pages; the moment you put information out there, it was outdated. But the functionality within the myTrip website means it’s always evolving. The customer can get the information as quickly as it can.”
The new website offers customers a range of additional features and reduces the time it takes the team at CT4N to manage it. The datasets already supplied by CT4N for the myTrip app live bus tracking are used to generate fully interactive timetables on the web. These come with interactive maps showing route and bus stop departure boards with real-time information.
Jamie Kerslake, Customer Success Manager at Passenger comments, “It’s great to see CT4N go from strength to strength, and we’re over the moon the CT4N Board has decided to take the next step in their digital journey by launching a new myTrip website with us.”
